President: Linda Chollar, California
Linda was elected as President in September, 2012 after serving as Vice President for 4 years. Experienced in serving on boards of directors at both national and state levels, her expertise in business/internet marketing and as an Accredited Reflexology Educator, Linda's broad background serves her well as a leader for ACARET. She co-designed and manages the ACARET website. A wellness professional since 1991, her training includes massage therapy instructor, craniosacral therapist and speaker/author. An ARCB CE Provider, she offers a wide range of courses. A staff reflexology instructor for 7 years at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in CA, she now serves on a wellness center advisory commitee at TMMC. Since 2008, she has been the U.S. director for Dr. Jesus Manzanares from Barcelona, Spain. Her coaching business, The Reflexology Mentor serves to help reflexologists grow their business through personal mentoring and online education.

Vice President: Sandra Nelson, Texas
Sandra became Vice President of ACARET in September 2012 after serving as Director since June, 2011. Business organization, writing skills and commitment to serve are just a few of her strengths. In private reflexology practice since 2008, her business is Pacific Reflexology in Houston, Texas. Certified by the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC), she graduated from an ITEC Certified School, Derwen Holistic Therapies in Texas and from the American Academy of Reflexology in California. Sandra is a published author on alternative healing topics and a Reiki Master. Other community service includes two terms as an elected official on the Hermiston, Oregon City Council and Vice President of the Texas Reflexology Association. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Marylhurst University and she organizes and sponsors continuing education workshops for reflexologists, massage therapists and laypeople.

Secretary
: Juliebeth Mezzy, Virginia Beach
Juliebeth Mezzy received her certification in Reflexology in 1996 through the International Institute of Reflexology. She is an AAEd, ACARET accredited educator and an approved CE provider through ARCB and NCBTMB. In addition to teaching reflexology at massage schools for 11 years, she also teaches reflexology to professional therapists in spa locations. Her background in reflexology and her experience as an educator and business owner brings added value to her service on the ACARET board of directors. Juliebeth's sense for detail and her sense of humor is especially appreciated. She lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, where she operates a private reflexology practice.

Treasurer: Tom Marziale, Ohio
Tom has served on the ACARET board of directors since it's early beginnings and is warmly referred to as the longest serving Treasurer in history. He has observed the changes and growth of ACARET and is as dedicated today as always. A previous president of the Associated Reflexologists of Colorado, he served two-terms in that position. A former business owner of ten years, Tom's skills are an asset to the board. Certified in reflexology (1990), Reiki Master/Teacher (1996) and Licensed Massage Therapist (2000, Carnegie Institute of Massotherapy in Ohio). His reflexology training includes courses taught by Sandi Rogers from Australia, Inge Dougans from South Africa and Bill Runquist from CA.

Director: LuAnn Lonergan, Kiel, WI
LuAnn is an Registered Nurse of 29 years, an ACARET Accredited Reflexology Educator and ARCB CE Provider. She teaches reflexology courses at Lakeshore Technical College as well as online courses in nursing fundamentals and therapeutic reflexology. Her reflexology classes are part of a Complementary Care Certificate program at the college. She has owned Touchpointe Reflexology, her private practice for three years and is a hospice volunteer.

Director: Annette Garbes, Waterloo, IA
Annette joined the board in August 2012. She is the Vice President of RAIA, the Reflexology Association of Iowa. She has actively served her state association on many levels and will be moving into the position of President in the October 2012 election. Annette began her journey as a professional reflexologist in 2009 and has a diverse background in bodywork training and specialities including chronic pain. She holds a BA in Business Management, is a Master Herbalist, Certified Natural Health Professional and an Iowa Licensed Massage Therapist. Annette's teaching since 2009 has included introductory reflexology, aromatherapy, Bach Flowers and CPR /First Aid. She has taught at East/West School of Integrative Healing Arts and Massage in North Liberty, Iowa. Currently she is developing her own course on hot/cold stone reflexology. Her private practice in reflexology and massage, Reflexology Heels the Soles, is located in Waterloo, Iowa and she co-offices with several chiropractors where she often helps their patients with reflexology. Annette's desire as Director on the ACARET Board is to 'make a difference.
